Our apartment
Situated on the Rue d'Aumale, the flat is ideally located in the heart of Chantilly. All major attractions are within a 15 minute walk; and Chantilly’s principal shopping street is only two minutes away.
The flat is situated on the second floor of a 19th century building with typical French architectural charm. All the main rooms have stunning views over Chantilly’s famous racecourse.
The lounge and dining room
The entry hall leads to the bright and spacious lounge cum dining room. Two windows give onto the racecourse and park. On race days, you'll be able to see the start of the races from the comfort of the lounge.
The room has a three seater sofa and two armchairs; and a dining table and four chairs. There is a marble fireplace. Decoration includes an antique mirror and framed prints of Chantilly and the surrounding area.
There is a large flatscreen TV with Freeview (for UK channels) and several French channels. The wifi connection covers all rooms.
The lounge and both bedrooms have interior wooden shutters.
The master bedroom
The master bedroom is situated off the lounge, and again has stunning views as you sit up in bed. Behind the bed you'll find double walk in wardrobes with an abundance of storage space.
The bedroom has reading lights on either side of the bed.
The room also has a marble desk / dressing table with a 1930s Breton mirror.
The second bedroom
The second bedroom has two single beds, which can joined to form a double bed if required. There are bedside tables, a chest of drawers and additional storage under the beds.
The kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, fridge freezer, Nespresso machine, etc. There is a small marble table with two chairs to enjoy your French breakfast in the morning. The kitchen again has a lovely view over the racecourse.
The Bathroom
The shower room has a large washbasin with a mirror. There is a separate WC. A washing machine and dryer are in a cupboard in the hallway.
Parking
Guests have the use of secure underground parking two minutes’ walk from the apartment (at no extra charge).
